I see a lot of questions being asked over and over again on the AoC forums, so I’ll provide some answers here:
Q: When is the beta?
A. Beta is complete, the game is live!
Q: Where do I sign up for the beta?
A: On the official AoC website is where you would have done this.
Q: When is the release date of the game? I see many websites advertise 5/30/2006 or dates earlier than late 2007?
A: Those websites that advertise anytime in 2006 or early 2007 as the release date are all wrong. The game was launched successfully on May 23rd, 2008.
Q: Will AoC be just like the Conan movies with Arnold Schwarzenegger?
A: No, the game is based on the books by Robert E. Howard, not on the Conan movies
